The third retreat of the year and third of a group of seasonal focus. This weekend allows time to retreat, time to prepare for hibernation and slowing down - autumn , a time to prepare, ready for the hibernation of winter.

Yoga will be strengthening for your core beliefs and trusting in what you need, while also nurturing that down time and desire to fall back in winter. With delicious vegetarian meals and massage (at a small extra cost) as always this time for you is accesible for all.

Location

Ragmans Farm is nestled in the Wye Valley on the edge of the Forest of Dean in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is a place to escape the pace of modern life, to sit with friends around the fire or next to the wood fired stove and enjoy the simple pleasures, beauty and peace of the natural world.

Yoga

This weekend aimts to look at both the physical and emotinal effects of yoga, focussing on support. using the breath work, yoga nidra and sound therapy the body will be nurtured alongside the yoga classes. By creating a warm and comfortable environment to learn and nurture the ability to relax will be easy. We will be building on bringing length into the spine and quads, for support to focus on backbends, allowing time for the subtle body to come into play - we can focus deeper on what our body needs. Each session will build on from the last, so each class will vary on focus as such, bring an elment of the whole body back to each class.

Food

The lovely Eve Vergano, Bread and Roses, will be feeding us with organic, vegetarian delights throughout the weekend. Fruit and veg supplied by Briggs Farm and dairy from Five Pennies. Beautifully presented, equally delicious food made from locally sourced organic fruit and veg, above and beyond your average veggie food.

Massage and sound therapy

Lucy Stott - MTI trained, works with physical, emotional and mental aspects of being. Her warm and effective touch will help release tension along side the strong body focus in the yoga.
