aNATOMY FOR YOGIS

Fit the pieces together

My passion lies within understanding the body deeply, inside and out. Through teaching, studying and exploring on a personal, physical and emotional level, I push my knowledge and understanding of how we work. Having recently been teaching on Kat Websters yoga teacher training I am currently planning my own short courses of anatomy for yoga teachers. Check out instagram for more updates on things I”m learning and teaching. My art degree finally comes in handy!

Let’s learn in a more 3D and fun way to understand how the body fits together - making the jigsaw become whole and get a fuller and more (w)holistic approach to learning. Along side the creative element, yoga and movement will help us realise the functionality of our bodies and how much we underestimate the work they are doing and the pressure we put on them - time for support!

Explore and play

“I want to help people understand anatomy, not only for their students but also for themselves and their own discovery. Anatomy and our scope of learning is changing a lot and with this comes great new depths, to explore and understand the body in a more real life , whole, and 3D way. To understand the body not just as a map but also as a continuous, gliding functioning being that shifts and changes. The hard edges of the anatomical drawing meeting the continuity of the whole body through sculpting, drawing, moving to understand whats going on underneath our skin. Watch the domino effect of moving the pelvis ricochet all the way up to the jaw - it is amazing”

unravel and reveal

We never stop learning and this to me has to be my favourite part of my process. Explore how the physical mind-body connection and the way we have distanced ourselves from it in the west can leave us feeling slightly inhibited. Come learn more with me. I have a free webinar to explore and slowly build a community of learning. More workshops coming up after summer! Looking forward to sharing more with you all!

Next workshop - 23rd January 6:00PM (UK time)
