Relax, Align & Tone
What: Strengthen and tone your body, improve focus and calm your mind.
Why: You can use yoga to help you on many different levels, but it is important to come to it with no ego, to ignore anyone else around you - time to focus on what you and your body is doing and focus on your individual strengths and weaknesses.
How: I teach Hatha, using poses in a flowing and stimulating way. Having recently completed another anatomy course, my understanding and passion for developing body work has increased and feeds into the classes through both stronger poses but also softer/more subtle work, using the breathing muscles and bandhas to create that intournal focus and strength. Working on an individual level yoga stretches and challenges, not only the body but also the mind.
I offer one to one classes which can be a really nice way to introduce yourself to yoga if you are new or to focus on a certain pose or body part you are suffering with.
I also offer Yoga in the Office - I can come and teach onsite, helping release stiff and stressed bodies and minds. All you need is a meeting room free for an hour!
What: my approach to massage stems from a holistic idea of working with the client to aid and relieve tension, be it physical or emotional. Whilst everyone's needs are different, I focus on specific areas of the body whilst bringing elements of the whole into the massage.
How: Creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere is very important to help the client to feel at ease. I like to see massage as a 50-50 approach, working together and communicating with each other about what each person needs for that day.
Having just finished my year of retreats I am so very much looking forward to to leading the next two - in 2018! Next year I hope to bring even more delights to the weekends away. There will be more yoga, more relaxation, more herbal teas, more fires, more sound, more breath work and partner work - and even more massage! and ever increasingly delicious food...I know the real reason you guys keep coming back.

Pregnancy yoga can be a great way to treat your body with the time you need to support yourself as well as your growing baby:
- breath work to support your needs and find strength
- soft asana practise to contain the pelvis, release tight muscles and strengthen the upper body
- time for yourself to relax and restore the systems, building self confidence
Pregnancy massage can also help alleviate tension both pre and post natally and help relax your mind and body. Although the pressure must be softer for massage can be a really nice way to help your body
