Massage & Yoga focus: back, neck and shoulders

The back, neck and shoulders are the most common areas of tension for most people. We will be working on the muscles of the shoulder girdle and opening up the chest to release the shoulders and back in order to create more space for our expansive breath. We will explore different techniques and benefit of holds, deep and soft pressure massage on these areas.

This workshop is part of our Yoga & Massage Focus series with Sophie. Each session explores the area of the body through breathwork and yoga, deepening their focus with the massage in the 2nd half. The focus areas of each workshop looks at the way in which you can affect the whole body through working on just one area. By bringing into focus the holistic nature of relaxation, we stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system which allow our systems to restore and hence our mind and muscles to relax.

This 2 hours workshop is £20.
