In this nurturing workshop, we will be focusing on settling into forward folds, closing in to the more introspective poses, allowing time for inward looking.
We will work with partners and with many lovely supported restorative poses (cushions galore!) to allow you to deepen your postures through support and learn how to use physical pressure to relax further into it.
We will explore the effect of touch on the body and the nervous system - learning techniques to help feel more confident when massaging friends and partners but also to be open in receiving massage. Learning to understand the importance of using breath to aid the parasympathetic nervous system to kick in and help restore our systems.
Bring a friend as you will be working in partners, but you are also welcome to come alone as we will pair you up appropriately!
Expect a cosy Saturday afternoon, moving into deep supported yoga poses and be rewarded by massage throughout. We will be working with oil and lavender essence, so prepare to truly be nurtured and relaxed this winter's afternoon!
